North Carolina High School Softball - Pisgah gets by North Henderson

The Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) softball nipped the visiting North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC), 4-3 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bears (7-5) will now prepare for their bout against Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Mustangs go into the Mountain Seven 3A bout with a 1-11 record. In their last bout, Smoky Mountain was edged by Tuscola (Waynesville, NC), 12-1, in a league bout.

The Knights now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Hendersonville for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 5. North Henderson will confront a Bearcats squad coming off a 15-4 league loss to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-7.
