Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC), 11-3 in a league challenge.

The Hornets now sport a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Thomasville for a Central Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, April 5. Salisbury will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to Lexington (Lexington, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, North Rowan falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host South Davidson (Denton, NC) to face the Wildcats in a Central Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, April 5. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 6-6. South Davidson won 18-3 in their recent league challenge against Lexington (Lexington, NC)
