New Mexico High School Softball - St. Michael's bounces Raton

The St. Michael's Horsemen routed the visiting Raton Tigers softball squad by a count of 12-3 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Horsemen (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies go into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Hope Christian was routed by Valley (Albuquerque, NM), 16-1, in a league battle.

The Tigers now sport a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to West Las Vegas for a 3A District 2 battle on Thursday, April 6. Raton will meet a Dons squad coming off a 23-13 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Dons record now stands at 4-3.
