The Sunnyside Blue Devils softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Rincon/University Rangers to 1 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Sunnyside improves its record to 18-4 on the year. The Blue Devils host Desert View (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 5. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 2-10. Desert View lost 6-2 in their recent league game against Cienega (Vail, AZ)

In their next game, the Rangers clash with the Tucson High Magnet School Badgers (Tucson, AZ) in a 6A South game, on Thursday, April 6. Rincon/University will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Badgers come into the game with a 17-5 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ).
