The Crystal City Hornets the host Herculaneum Black Cats baseball team by a tally of 4-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Hornets now hold a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop DuBourg for a non-league bout on Monday, April 8. Crystal City will face a Cavaliers team coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to MICDS (St. Louis, MO). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-4.
The Black Cats (1-4) will now prepare for their game against St. Vincent (Perryville, MO). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 2-7 record.
