In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Springport Spartans baseball team scored a nice 10-1 victory over the East Jackson Trojans.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Litchfield (Litchfield, MI). The Terriers go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Litchfield overcame Athens (Athens, MI), 8-5, in a non-league game.
The Trojans (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Concord (Concord, MI). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
