The Festus Tigers crushed the visiting Perryville Pirates baseball team by a tally of 10-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now hold a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Washington for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 6. Festus will face a Bluejays team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Fort Zumwalt East (St. Peters, MO). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-10.
The Pirates (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Leopold (Leopold, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Leopold overcame Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, MO), 8-6, in a league game.
