The Kirtland Central Broncos baseball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Gallup Bengals to 9 in the Broncos league victory on Thursday.
The Broncos (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Ignacio (Ignacio, CO). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Ignacio was overwhelmed by Del Norte (Del Norte, CO), 16-10, in a non-league match.
The Bengals (4-12) will now prepare for their match against Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Patriots go into the 4A District 1 match with a 1-11 record. In their last match, Miyamura was overwhelmed by Aztec (Aztec, NM), 10-7, in a league match.
