The Pinewood Christian Patriots crushed the visiting St. Andrew's Lions baseball team by a count of 18-2 in Thursday's league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bulloch Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 bout on Tuesday, April 9. Pinewood Christian will face a Gators team coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Stratford Academy (Macon, GA). The Gators record now stands at 8-9.
Next, the Lions face the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes (Pembroke, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 9. St. Andrew's will attempt to move on its 0-19 season record. The Hurricanes enter the bout with a 0-14 record after their 9-8 league loss to Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics (North Charleston, SC).
