The Union City Tigers baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Varnum Whippets to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers (12-4) will now prepare for their match against Stonewall (Stonewall, OK). The Longhorns go into the non-league match with a 12-6 record. In their last match, Stonewall ran past Varnum (Seminole, OK), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Whippets (4-11) will now prepare for their match against Mason (Mason, OK). The Eagles go into the Little River match with a 12-9 record.
