Gateway Regional Gators (Woodbury Heights, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Hamilton Hornets (Hamilton, NJ), 14-9 in a non-league battle.

The Gators now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Triton for a non-league battle on Monday, April 8. Gateway Regional will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 15-3 non-league win over Winslow Township (Atco, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates (Princeton Junction, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 6. Hamilton will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 10-0 league loss to Allentown (Allentown, NJ).
