In Thursday's league test, the visiting St. John Paul II Lions lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders.
The Lions now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Nantucket for a non-league test on Friday, April 5. St. John Paul II will face a Whalers squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Martha's Vineyard Regional (Oak Bluffs, MA). The Whalers record now stands at 1-0.
In their next game, the Vineyarders face the Boston Latin Academy Dragons (Dorchester, MA) in a test, on Saturday, April 6. Martha's Vineyard Regional will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
