Arizona High School Softball - Desert View can't get by Buena

In Thursday's league contest, the Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) softball team held off the visiting Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 10-9.

With the triumph, Buena moves its record to 7-12 on the year. The Colts host Higley (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Knights in a non-league contest on Friday, April 5. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 13-5. Higley won 14-0 in their recent league contest against Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ)

In their next game, the Jaguars play the Nogales Apaches (Nogales, AZ) in a 5A Sonoran contest, on Tuesday, April 9. Desert View will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Apaches come into the contest with a 2-18 record after their 25-0 non-league loss to Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ).
