The Mena Bearcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Dardanelle Sand Lizards to 0 in the Bearcats league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Mena moves its record to 10-8 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Waldron (Waldron, AR) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 4A Region 4 game on Friday, April 5. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 1-7. Waldron lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Pottsville (Pottsville, AR)

In their next game, the Sand Lizards clash with the Fountain Lake Cobras (Hot Springs National Park, AR) in a 4A Region 4 game, on Friday, April 5. Dardanelle will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Cobras come into the game with a 5-3 record after their 24-0 non-league win over ESTEM (Little Rock, AR).
