Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Storm now sport a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host High Point Central for a Mid-State 3A challenge on Friday, April 5. Southern Guilford will face a Bison squad coming off a 16-5 league loss to Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Bison record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Dudley falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC) to face the Wildcats in a Mid-State 3A challenge on Friday, April 5. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Eastern Guilford won 7-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
