East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs (New Orleans, LA), 31-18 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Willow for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 8. East Jefferson will battle a Lions squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Morris Jeff (New Orleans, LA). The Lions record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to McGehee (New Orleans, LA) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 8. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. McGehee won 17-2 in their recent league challenge against Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA)
