Farrington Governors (Honolulu, HI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host McKinley Tigers (Honolulu, HI), 19-18 in a league challenge.

The Governors now sport a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Kailua for a Oahu II challenge on Saturday, April 6. Farrington will face a Surfriders squad coming off a 15-4 non-league loss to 'Aiea ('Aiea, HI). The Surfriders record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, McKinley falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Kalaheo (Kailua, HI) to face the Mustangs in a Oahu II challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 4-7. Kalaheo lost 9-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Radford (Honolulu, HI)
