Hackleburg Panthers (Hackleburg, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Phillips Bears (Bear Creek, AL), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they host Cherokee for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Hackleburg will face a Indians squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to McNairy Central (Selmer, TN). The Indians record now stands at 13-12.

With the loss, Phillips falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Winfield (Winfield, AL) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 5. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 16-2. Winfield won 9-5 in their recent league challenge against Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL)
