Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hawken Hawks (Gates Mills, OH), 24-9 in a league challenge.

The Lions now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Geauga for a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Orange will battle a Wolverines squad coming off a 21-2 league win over Hawken (Gates Mills, OH). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Hawken falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Beachwood (Beachwood, OH) to battle the Bison in a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
