West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Houlka Wildcats (Houlka, MS), 20-1 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Ingomar for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. West Union will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Houlka falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Shannon (Shannon, MS) to battle the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 8. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 0-19. Shannon lost 23-0 in their recent league challenge against Ripley (Ripley, MS)
