Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS), 14-0 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 21-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mooreville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. Itawamba Agricultural will face a Troopers squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS). The Troopers record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Ripley falls to 12-12 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Shannon (Shannon, MS) to face the Red Raiders in a 4A Region 1 challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 0-18. Shannon lost 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Belmont (Belmont, MS)
