La Quinta Aztecs (Westminster, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros (Garden Grove, CA), 15-1 in a league challenge.

The Aztecs now own a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Bolsa Grande for a Garden Grove challenge on Wednesday, April 10. La Quinta will battle a Matadors squad coming off a 20-8 league loss to Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Rancho Alamitos falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Vaqueros host Loara (Anaheim, CA) to battle the Saxons in a Garden Grove challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Saxons enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. Loara lost 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Santiago (Garden Grove, CA)
