McLouth Bulldogs (McLouth, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Valley Falls Dragons (Valley Falls, KS), 17-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Horton for a challenge on Monday, April 8. McLouth will face a Chargers squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Doniphan West (Highland, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Valley Falls falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Dragons host Atchison County (Effingham, KS) to face the Tigers in a Northeast Kansas challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Atchison County lost 22-8 in their recent league challenge against Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, KS)
