In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Willow Springs Bears softball team scored a nice 19-6 win over the Salem Tigers.
Coming up next, the Bears encounter the Gainesville Bulldogs (Gainesville, MO) in a Class 2 District 4 outing, on Saturday, April 6. Willow Springs will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record.
The Tigers (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against Licking (Licking, MO). The Wildcats enter the Class 2 District 3 outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Licking prevailed over Stoutland (Stoutland, MO), 13-3, in a non-league outing.
