Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ), 28-3 in a league challenge.

The Stallions now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host Tolleson for a 6A West Valley challenge on Monday, April 8. Shadow Ridge will battle a Wolverines squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ). The Wolverines record now stands at 16-6.

With the loss, Valley Vista falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Monsoon host Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ) to battle the Rams in a 6A West Valley challenge on Monday, April 8. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 21-3. Maricopa won 8-7 in their recent league challenge against West Point (Avondale, AZ)
