Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Westside Warriors (Jonesboro, AR) and the visiting Wynne Yellowjackets (Wynne, AR), witnessed Westside's softball squad tip Wynne by a count of 8-4.

The Warriors now sport a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Blytheville for a 4A Region 3 match on Monday, April 8. Westside will meet a Chickasaws squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Westside (Jonesboro, AR). The Chickasaws record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Wynne moves to 9-2 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Marion (Marion, AR) to meet the Patriots in a non-league match on Friday, April 5. The Patriots go into the match with a record of 2-11. Marion lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR)
