The Anacoco Indians baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Converse Wildcats to 2 in the Indians non-league win on Friday.
The Indians now own a 10-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Florien for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. Anacoco will clash with a Blackcats team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Negreet (Negreet, LA). The Blackcats record now stands at 8-11.
With the defeat, Converse drops to 11-15 on the season. The Wildcats host Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA) to battle the Flyers in a non-league match on Saturday, April 5. The Flyers come into the match with a record of 19-9. Loyola College Prep lost 12-0 in their recent league match against Northwood (Shreveport, LA)
