With the triumph, Maize South advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Goddard (Goddard, KS) to battle the Lions in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 8. The Lions come into the match with a record of 1-3. Goddard lost 6-3 in their recent non-league match against South (Salina, KS)

The Bulldogs now have a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salina Central for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division II match on Friday, April 11. Arkansas City will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Northwest (Wichita, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-3.
