New York High School Baseball - Avon Old Farms holds off Trinity-Pawling School

In Friday's league game, the visiting Avon Old Farms Beavers baseball team scored a close 9-5 win over the Trinity-Pawling School Pride.
The Beavers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT). The Wild Boars go into the Founders game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Choate Rosemary Hall School was overwhelmed by Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT), 3-2, in a league game.
Next, the Pride play the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) in a Founders game, on Monday, April 7. Trinity-Pawling School will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Big Red go into the game with a 2-1 record after their 13-6 non-league win over St. Luke's (New Canaan, CT).
