Texas High School Baseball - Pieper held off by Boerne-Champion

The Pieper Warriors baseball squad (San Antonio, TX), 7-5 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX)

With the triumph, Boerne-Champion moves its record to 16-6 on the season. The Chargers travel to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX) to confront the Unicorns in a 5A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, April 8. The Unicorns come into the contest with a record of 18-4. New Braunfels lost 7-1 in their recent league contest against Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX)

The Warriors now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Churchill for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 5. Pieper will confront a Chargers squad coming off a 15-1 league win over SA Roosevelt (San Antonio, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 6-12.
