The Southwestern Wildcats baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Boscobel Bulldogs to 3 in the Wildcats league win on Friday.
The Wildcats now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Riverdale for a SWAL test on Tuesday, April 8. Southwestern will clash with a Chieftains team coming off a 9-4 league win over Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI). The Chieftains record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Boscobel drops to 2-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek, WI) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 0-0.
