The Central Valley Bears (Spokane Valley, WA) baseball trounced the host Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA), 20-8 in Friday's league challenge.
The Bears now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridgeline for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane test on Monday, April 7. Central Valley will play a Falcons team coming off a 8-3 league loss to Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, Ferris drops to 0-8 on the year. The Saxons travel to Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA) to play the Bullpups in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane test on Monday, April 7. The Bullpups go into the test with a record of 7-2. Gonzaga Prep won 5-2 in their recent league test against Cheney (Cheney, WA)
