In Friday's non-league bout, the Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Northampton Blue Devils (Northampton, MA), by a tally of 23-1.
Next up, the Golden Eagles encounter the Agawam Brownies (Agawam, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 8. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Brownies enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 9-4 league win over East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA).
The Blue Devils (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Holyoke (Holyoke, MA). The Purple Knights enter the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Holyoke was overwhelmed by Taconic (Pittsfield, MA), 9-3, in a non-league bout.
