The East Rutherford Cavaliers triumphed over the visiting Chase Trojans baseball squad by a score of 9-1 in Friday's league outing.
Next up, the Cavaliers encounter the Chesnee Eagles (Chesnee, SC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 7. East Rutherford will attempt to advance on its 13-0 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 11-6 record after their 4-2 non-league win over R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC).
The Trojans (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers enter the Mountain Foothills 7 1A/2A outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Patton was overwhelmed by R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 7-2, in a league outing.
