The Clarkdale Bulldogs (Meridian, MS) baseball got by the visiting West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS), 3-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Northeast Lauderdale for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 5. Clarkdale will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 16-1 league loss to Newton County (Decatur, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 7-11.

With the defeat, West Lauderdale drops to 18-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 5. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 20-1. Southeast Lauderdale won 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS)
