Mississippi High School Baseball - Clinton defeats Madison Central

In Friday's league game, the host Clinton Arrows baseball team scored a close 8-3 victory over the Madison Central Jaguars.
The Arrows (15-6) will now prepare for their game against Tupelo (Tupelo, MS). The Golden Wave enter the 7A Region 2 game with a 12-10 record. In their last game, Tupelo was overwhelmed by Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS), 9-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Jaguars face the Germantown Mavericks (Madison, MS) in a 7A Region 2 game, on Tuesday, April 8. Madison Central will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Mavericks enter the game with a 11-11 record after their 17-2 non-league win over Quitman (Quitman, MS).
