The Dillon Wildcats baseball squad (Dillon, SC), was overwhelmed 13-2 in Friday's league contest with the host Waccamaw Warriors (Pawley's Island, SC)

With the triumph, Waccamaw moves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Warriors host Aynor (Aynor, SC) to confront the Blue Jackets in a 3A Region 7 contest on Tuesday, April 8. The Blue Jackets come into the contest with a record of 8-3. Aynor lost 9-1 in their recent non-league bout against Conway (Conway, SC)

The Wildcats (3-8) will now prepare for their bout against Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Marlboro County was overwhelmed by Loris (Loris, SC), 14-3, in a non-league bout.
