The Panthers now own a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo for a 6A Region IV District 31 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Weslaco will clash with a Bears team coming off a 17-5 league win over Economedes (Edinburg, TX). The Bears record now stands at 19-2.

With the defeat, Edinburg North drops to 2-20 on the year. The Cougars travel to La Joya (La Joya, TX) to clash with the Coyotes in a 6A Region IV District 31 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Coyotes go into the challenge with a record of 14-7. La Joya won 13-3 in their recent league challenge against Edinburg (Edinburg, TX)
