Arizona High School Baseball - Fairfax sneaks past Ironwood

April 4, 2025: Laveen, AZ 85339

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) and the visiting Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ), saw Fairfax's baseball team get by Ironwood by a tally of 6-5.

The Stampede (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against North (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs enter the 5A Metro battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, North held off Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ), 4-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles face the Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ) in a 5A Northwest Valley battle, on Monday, April 7. Ironwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Coyotes enter the battle with a 10-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ).
