The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish (Ann Arbor, MI) and the host Jefferson Bears (Monroe, MI), saw Gabriel Richard's baseball team gain a win over Jefferson by a tally of 6-2.
The Fighting Irish (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Divine Child (Dearborn, MI). The Falcons enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Divine Child was overwhelmed by Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bears face the Wayne Memorial Zebras (Wayne, MI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 5. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Zebras enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 14-1 league loss to Stevenson (Livonia, MI).
