The Gainesville Cardinals baseball team scored 19 runs and held the host Unity Reed Lions to 0 in the Cardinals league win on Friday.
The Cardinals now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Osbourn Park for a Cedar Run test on Monday, April 7. Gainesville will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 12-2 league win over Osbourn (Manassas, VA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Unity Reed drops to 0-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Patriot (Nokesville, VA) to play the Pioneers in a Cedar Run test on Monday, April 7. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 4-1.
