In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Northwood Falcons baseball team scored a close 12-5 win over the Haughton Buccaneers.
The Falcons (20-4) will now prepare for their game against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 22-8 record. In their last game, Elizabeth nudged Northside Christian (Crowley, LA), 15-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Buccaneers play the Huntington Raiders (Shreveport, LA) in a game, on Saturday, April 5. Haughton will attempt to improve on its 24-6 season record. The Raiders go into the game with a 0-8 record after their 13-0 league loss to Benton (Benton, LA).
