The Towns County Indians baseball squad (Hiawassee, GA), was overwhelmed 16-0 in Friday's league contest with the host Lake Oconee Academy Titans (Greensboro, GA)
With the triumph, Lake Oconee Academy moves its record to 12-5 on the season. The Titans host Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 15. The Jaguars come into the contest with a record of 8-8.
The Indians now possess a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murphy for a non-league contest on Monday, April 7. Towns County will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-4 league win over Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-8.
