Tennessee High School Baseball - Sweetwater edges Loudon

The Sweetwater Wildcats baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Loudon Redskins to 2 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now hold a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host Tellico Plains for a 2A District 3 test on Monday, April 7. Sweetwater will play a Bears team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Bears record now stands at 9-9.

With the defeat, Loudon drops to 7-13 on the year. The Redskins host Sequoyah (Madisonville, TN) to play the Chiefs in a 3A District 5 test on Monday, April 7. The Chiefs go into the test with a record of 7-11. Sequoyah won 16-6 in their recent non-league test against Howard Tech (Chattanooga, TN)
