The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the McKinley Red Dragons (Niles, OH) and the visiting McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH), saw McKinley's baseball team gain a win over McDonald by a tally of 8-3.

The Red Dragons (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against South Range (Canfield, OH). The Raiders enter the Northeast 8 Athletic battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, South Range held off Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH), 17-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Blue Devils face the Heartland Christian Lions (Columbiana, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 5. McDonald will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Lake Center Christian (Hartville, OH).
