North Carolina High School Baseball - North Stanly prevails South Stanly

In Friday's league game, the host North Stanly Comets baseball team scored a nice 12-3 win over the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls.

The Comets (15-0) will now prepare for their game against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Knights go into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, Gray Stone Day was overwhelmed by Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 21-2, in a league game.

Next, the Rowdy Rebel Bulls play the Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game, on Tuesday, April 8. South Stanly will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 1-10 record after their 16-1 league loss to Union Academy (Monroe, NC).
