The Overhills Jaguars baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Westover Wolverines to 1 in the Jaguars league win on Friday.
The Jaguars now hold a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pine Forest for a All American 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 8. Overhills will play a Trojans team coming off a 7-5 league win over Triton (Erwin, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 12-4.
With the defeat, Westover drops to 0-11 on the year. The Wolverines host Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a All American 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 8. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 12-3. Terry Sanford won 10-0 in their recent league match against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC)
