The West Springfield Spartans baseball team scored 2 runs and held the host Robinson Rams to 0 in the Spartans league win on Friday.

The Spartans now hold a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freedom for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. West Springfield will play a Eagles team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Gainesville (Gainesville, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Robinson drops to 0-8 on the year. The Rams travel to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA) to play the Wolverines in a Patriot test on Tuesday, April 8. The Wolverines go into the test with a record of 4-3. West Potomac won 5-4 in their recent league test against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA)
