The crowd at Friday's league battle between the South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) and the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders (Los Angeles, CA), saw South Gate's baseball team get by Roosevelt by a tally of 6-5.
The Rams (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Bell (Bell, CA). The Eagles enter the Eastern battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Bell was tipped by Banning (Wilmington, CA), 7-3, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Rough Riders face the Huntington Park Spartans (Huntington Park, CA) in a Eastern battle, on Monday, April 7. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 3-7 record after their 10-0 league loss to Garfield (Los Angeles, CA).
