Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Chavez advances its record to 2-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Grant (Van Nuys, CA) to face the Lancers in a test on Monday, April 7. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 5-7. Grant lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Banning (Wilmington, CA)

The Mustangs now sport a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poly for a test on Wednesday, April 9. Arleta will face a Parrots squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Garfield (Los Angeles, CA). The Parrots record now stands at 4-9.
